Lingon Emulsion-1 and Lingon Emulsion-2 are used for many skin diseases. An allergic reaction is the most common cause of many skin diseases, such as:

  • Atopic Dermatitis (a long-term skin allergy that involves scaly and itchy rashes, which can be triggered by food, climate, and stress)
  • Eczema (an itchy, rough, dry skin, which mainly affects children)Food Allergy, Urticaria (a skin allergy, which is triggered by seafood, beef, lamb, eggs, peanuts, milk, or other specific foods)
  • Contact Dermatitis (a skin allergy caused by contacting cosmetic products, plants, animals, insect stings, certain chemicals, and metals)
  • Scalp Allergy to Hair Dye (scalp skin is itchy and red, has patches of skin covered with yellow or white scales or thick crusts, excessive dandruff)

What is Lingon Extract?

Extensive scientific studies have been done on Lingonberry extract in Europe, and its “nearly magical” healing power has since been used in many health care products. Lingonberries are very rich in benzoic acid, vitamin C, vitamin A (as beta-carotene), vitamins B (B1, B2, B6), and the elements potassium, calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus. Even its seeds are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for maintaining normal functions of skin cells. The plant sterols in Lingonberry seeds reduce redness and skin sensitivity, promote tissue regeneration and have anti-inflammatory properties. Clinical studies have proven that topically applying these essential fatty acids improve the health and appearance of the skin, speed up wound healing, and reduce transepidermal water loss.
Lingonberry comes from the land of Sweden, where they grow wild, especially in the northern part of the country where the forests are colored red in the fall. Lingonberries are ripe from August through October when the sun shines late into the night. At the peak of their freshness, the bunched berries are handpicked, then are individually frozen, sorted, and are electronically cleaned to ensure that only the highest quality berries are used.

How does Lingon Emulsion work?

Skin allergy is induced when allergen-specific T cells and IgE infiltrate the skin at the site of allergen exposure. Lingonberry extract polypeptide-1 is a potent T-Cell modulator; its dimeric fusion molecule has the CD-2 binding portion of the human leukocyte function antigen-3 (LFA-3) linked to the Fc portion of human IgG. It interferes with lymphocyte activation and proliferation by specifically binding to the leukocyte antigen CD-2, inhibiting CD-2/LFA-3 interaction. Furthermore, Lingonberry extract polypeptide-1 also shows a significant inhibitory effect on LFA-1 in vitro and on initial activation of T-cell. LFA-1 is required for extravasations of leukocytes to inflammatory sites. Lingonberry extract polypeptide-3 specifically targets memory T-lymphocytes and induces selective apoptosis of the memory T-Cell. Recent studies indicate Lingonberry extract polypeptide-6 induces basal cell differentiation.

Are there any side effects?

  •   Side effects are minimal!
  •   It is not immunosuppressive
  •   It doesn’t carry any risk of skin carcinoma

Large molecules of Lingonberry extract polypeptide are unable to penetrate through epithelial cells into blood circulation, so the side effects are minimal. More importantly, Lingonberry extract is not immunosuppressive, and it does not carry the risk of skin cancer.

How to use Lingon Emulsion?

Apply Lingon-1 to the skin or scalp first. Wait about three minutes; let it be absorbed into the surface of the skin. Then apply a thin layer of Lingon -2 on top of the skin area. Repeat the same process twice daily for 1-2 weeks. After the skin has recovered, continue to use Lingon-2 twice daily to repair the damaged skin and to prevent any recurrence. If a skin rash returns (which is usually less severe), apply Lingon-1 and Lingon-2 twice daily for a few more days and continue to use Lingon-2 to maintain skin health.

Use Lingon Emulsion 1 and Lingon Emulsion 2 as soon as possible

Skin allergy is curable, but can’t be eradicated completely. To reduce the severity, avoid spread to other parts of your body, and prevent recurrence of skin allergy, you need to treat skin lesions immediately. Applying Lingon-1 and Lingon-2 as soon as possible on a fresh lesion or a new-onset skin rash will provide the best result.

Why you should use Lingon Emulsion 1 and Lingon Emulsion 2 together at the same time?

The action of Lingon-1 is to recover normal skin, stop flaking, itching, and rash. Lingon-2, on the other hand, is used to repair and maintain healthy skin, and to prevent recurrence. Continuing to use Lingon-2 after the skin rash has disappeared will improve skin’s integrity and will prevent recurrence.

How long will you need to treat the skin allergy?

This depends on many factors, such as the duration of the lesion, the type of skin allergy, age, severity, food intake, climate, stress, and other environmental risk factors. It usually takes about one to two weeks in most cases.

General guidelines:

  • For eczema, atopic dermatitis: Use both Lingon-1 and Lingon-2, twice a day (morning and evening), for two to three weeks. You may need more than one course of treatment to clear all the lesions.

  • For psoriasis or chronic skin allergy: Use both Lingon-1 and Lingon-2, twice a day (morning and evening), for two to four weeks. Rest for one week, and observe your skin closely to see if there is any recurrence, then repeat the previous regimen if needed.

  • For contact dermatitis, urticaria, insect sting, poison ivy dermatitis: Promptly use both Lingon-1 and Lingon-2, three to four times a day, for three to five days until the itch and rash are completely gone.

  • For seborrheic dermatitis (dandruff) and other scalp lesions: Only use Lingon-1 twice a day (morning and evening). You may need more than one course of treatment to clear all the lesions.

These are only general guidelines. It is possible to change and modify these guidelines based on your own experiences.

The first 6 months after starting the treatment is very important!

The initial 6 months of treatment is most critical. First, you must remove the triggering factors as much as you can, such as seafood, red meats, spicy food, stress, etc. Then, you should follow the directions carefully and use enough Lingon-1 and Lingon-2 to cover all your skin lesions. One by one, all the lesions will be gone after two to four weeks of treatment. You should carefully inspect your skin regularly. When a small skin allergy recurrence takes place, it should be treated with Lingon-1 and Lingon-2 promptly by following the same treatment regimen, until your skin recovers to normal. If there is no significant recurrence, and skin lesions are minimal throughout the whole period, the chance for future recurrence is dramatically reduced.

How to prevent skin allergies from coming back?

A few percentages of customers experience a recurrence of skin lesions. This is because skin allergies are diseases result from a complex interplay between strong family genetic history (abnormal genes in chromosome 11q13 and Chromosome 3q21) and environmental factors. It is not possible to remove abnormal genes from skin cells; therefore, the original causes of these skin diseases will never be completely eliminated. Also, many environmental factors (climate, food, weather, stress, etc.) can’t be completely controlled, so you may need more than one course of treatment to clear all the lesions.

How to prevent and treat a recurrence of skin allergy?

  • Rremove as many triggering factors (allergic food, stress, infection, chemicals, dust, etc.) as possible.
  • Look back to your previous treatment regimen to see any possible improvements, and follow the guidelines more closely.
  • Have a positive attitude: your skin has become better after using Lingon Emulsion. Your next step is to prevent it from coming back and to recover your normal skin.

Be patient and motivated in the process: your skin allergy has become better after using Lingon Emulsion, and the only thing you need to do is to make it disappear!

What is skin allergy?

Many skin problems belong to this category such as: eczema, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, contact dermatitis, urticaria, insect sting, chronic dermatitis, poison ivy dermatitis, and seborrheic dermatitis. These skin problems usually appear with: skin rash, excessive itching, dry or rough skin, change to skin thickness and pigmentation, skin plagues, cracks and flakes, and scalp dandruff.

Skin Allergy is very common:

The lifetime prevalence of skin allergy is 20–30% in children,10–20% in adults and its prevalence has increased 200% during the past thirty years.

Skin allergy can start at any age:

Some skin allergies are present during infancy and childhood (like eczema or atopic dermatitis), and often persist into adulthood. Others can develop at any age.

Skin allergy is curable:

Skin allergy results from a complex interplay between strong family genetic history (abnormal genes in chromosome 11q13 and Chromosome 3q21) and environmental factors, such as: food, climate, medications, chemicals and stress. They are curable, but can’t be eradicated completely.

Skin problems can lead to other severe diseases:

Skin allergy is often the initial step in the so-called “atopic march,” which leads to asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergy, psoriasis and even kidney disease.

Food can trigger skin allergies:

Food allergens induce skin allergy in nearly 40% of cases; various foods can trigger allergy, particularly seafood, red meats, eggs, wheat, soy, alcohol, coffee, spicy foods, dairy products, nuts, and tropical fruit.

Dry skin can make rashes and itching worse:

Dry skin conveys the loss of “the barrier function” of the skin. Therefore, factors that make the skin even drier may make skin allergy harder to control. For example:

  • Winter weather (or climate change)
  • Frequent washing particularly with very hot water
  • Soap and antiseptics
  • Living in a low humidity areas
  • High ambient temperatures
  • Chlorine in swimming pools

Things that may cause skin allergy to flare up:

Most people with skin allergies will notice certain things seem to irritate their skin, resulting in immediate stinging or itching, and may even cause a flare up of skin allergy. These things include:

  • Soap
  • Harsh clothing detergents
  • Wool against the skin
  • Cosmetic and perfumes
  • Prescribed and over-the-counter treatment creams
  • Dusty environments
  • Certain chemicals

Stress can aggravate skin allergy:

Adults and children are liable to experience an exacerbation in skin allergy secondary to physical, mental or social stress. Stress can come in many forms. Any other illness including a mild common cold may cause a flare up. Social stress, such as a move to a new area, change in school, work, and family and relationship conflicts may also make the skin allergy worse. Skin allergy itself may be the source of stress as it is uncomfortable and often a major cosmetic concern. Furthermore, the cost of medications and time off work can also add to stress.

Climate effects on skin allergy:

Climate undoubtedly plays a major role in the severity of skin allergy. Cold, damp climates may cause skin allergy to become more resistant to treatment. Most people find that their skin allergy is better during the summer. However, it is recommended that people with skin allergy avoid overexposure to sunlight.
